Losing a Baby in 2018 [besides the fact that our sweet boy is gone]

Social media can make losing a child so much more painful (there are SO many more TERRIBLE aspects of child loss, these just seems to be unique to our generation).
Advertisements directed at infant products, because of things you used to “like” or subscribe to
Having to unfollow all the baby related accounts and emails you followed when pregnant and/or a mom/dad
People being so afraid of your experience that they don’t even acknowledge you and your baby. I mean they liked your posts before?
Parents complaining [on social media], especially through silly memes, about their babies/children. I get it, having kids is hard, especially newborns, but at least they’re with you 🤷♀️
People commenting “hugs & prayers” on posts. Yet they haven’t reached out personally...
Having to mute pregnant women and new moms. I just can no longer relate to their happiness.
EDIT: This was written about a month after I lost Miles, since then, I have met a lot of amazing loss mamas thanks to social media. There are positives and negatives!
